Karen brings years of retail management and administrative organization to the company.  She's the one that keeps the gears moving together - whether it be marketing, accounting or day to day office operations - Karen does it all. Her outgoing and fun personality will greet you when you visit us!

Michelle Chase, AKBD

Owner, Designer

If you ask her how she decided that being a kitchen designer was what she was supposed to be- she'll usually just smile and start to tell you a story about her family.  Born and raised in Southern Maine, Michelle's father opened a kitchen and bath showroom when she was little. Cleaning displays on weekends led to filing paperwork, which led to entering his designs into the computer program, which led to a love of creating. Earning a BS in Business Administration from UNH in 2002, she went to work for her father Dan at Roux's Kitchen & Bath in Alfred, ME and began studying for her kitchen and bath certification. Michelle has been a certified Associate Kitchen and Bath Designer since 2007, and serves on the board of the Maine chapter of the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Having worked in both independent showrooms as well as two lumberyards, she knew her passion was being able to provide individual, specialized attention in a relaxed environment. Working together with you, she'll manage your project from planning through installation, coordinating all of the details along the way to deliver the end result you've been waiting for. ​​
